Christina’s journey with Gypsy Divers began in 2001 when the new store and pool opened. Back then, she was an awkward preteen swimming year-round with a competitive team. Over 10 years later, she was lured back with a part-time job, this time as a teacher instead of a student. After a few days of shadowing swim instructors, it became clear her other job would interfere. So, the previous owner moved her to AirTech full time!
Although she was only here for a year, Christina formed such a bond with the AirTech team that she returned to visit year after year, despite not even being a diver. In 2019, she came back full-time to help wherever needed. Today, her focus is on assisting the team through this exciting transition year with new ownership.
Outside the shop, Christina enjoys spending time outdoors, playing with her pets, relaxing with her spouse, and exploring her love of art. A passion that inspired her to start Argiope Studio. “Fans” can follow her creative journey there for a glimpse into her artistic side.
