Local Diving
When students are signing up for dive lessons, a frequent concern is practicing these new skills between tropical trips. Unfortunately, a lot of us can’t escape the real world every week for a new dive trip, especially those of us in the industry.
Luckily, we’re in a great location for divers to frequently get wet!
Rock Quarries and Scuba Parks!
We are luckily located between two local quarries, each about 20 minutes from the shop. Fantasy Lake is in Wake Forest and where we do a lot of our certification dives and quarry socials. You’ll need to purchase a day pass and fill out the annual waiver emailed to you before getting there.
Mystery Lake is located in Wendell and works on an annual pass system. They each have their own charms and specialties, let us know if you want information on either!
NC Coast Diving
Our area is also rich in underwater history. During WWII our coast experienced a lot of action and subsequently, we have some great wrecks to explore! We also are one of the few places in the world where you can find Megalodon teeth. Divers travel from all over the globe for these amazing experiences and we have it only hours away!
